BBC ‘Get In’ Taster Days

Creative Industries

Get In Taster Days are a great way for students aged 16-18 to find out more about life at the BBC and the opportunities they have on offer. They give attendees first-hand experience of their local BBC base and the kind of work they might be doing there if they apply for one of the BBC's apprenticeships. At a ‘Get In’ Taster Day, students will have the chance to:

  • Learn about the media industry and a professional workplace environment

  • Find out about the wide range of job roles we have to offer

  • Develop some hands-on skills

  • Spend time in a BBC studio

  • Have a closer look at their apprenticeship application process and get some tips for applying.

Students can complete an expression of interest formto register their interest for the BBC location that is nearest to them or most easily reached.
