Find Work Experience Opportunities with Futures For All

Future Finder is a free online platform where students can search and apply for work experience opportunities from a wide range of employers across the UK.

It brings together in-person, virtual and hybrid placements in one place, making it easier to find opportunities that match interests, subjects and future career ideas. Students can register, apply directly through the platform and track their progress, with support from their school or college where needed.

Alongside this, the Bucks Skills Hub Employer Spotlight highlights organisations across Buckinghamshire offering work experience, internships and other opportunities. It gives a clear view of what’s available locally and how to connect directly with employers.

Students with SEND can also use the filters on the Employer Spotlight page to identify local employers who offer appropriate support, helping them find opportunities that suit their needs.

👉 Browse local opportunities on Employer Spotlight

For those getting started, the Work Experience Guide offers practical support, with videos, activities and tips to help students prepare for placements and reflect on what they learn along the way.

Using these together gives access to a broad mix of opportunities — from national placements to local experiences — helping build skills, confidence and a clearer understanding of future career options.
