Fully Funded Plant Operator Training for Buckinghamshire and Surrey Residents

Residents of Buckinghamshire and Surrey can access fully funded plant operator training through the Skills Hub, with places available from 24 August 2026. The programme is designed for individuals looking to start or progress a career in the construction industry and provides training in specialist plant operation roles.

Available training pathways include:

  • Articulated dump truck and forward tipping dumper

  • Forward tipping dumper and vehicle marshal

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Live in Buckinghamshire or Surrey (excluding Milton Keynes)

  • Have lived in England for the last three years

  • Have the right to work and study in the UK

  • Be aged 19 or over

Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested in developing practical skills and exploring opportunities within the construction sector is encouraged to register their interest.
