Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs): Your Next Step

Discover Higher Technical Qualifications

If you’re aged 18 to 24 and considering your next step, a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) could be an option worth exploring.

HTQs are higher education qualifications in England focused on the skills and knowledge needed for higher-skilled jobs. They typically follow qualifications such as A Levels, T Levels and BTECs and are shorter than a university degree.

They can be particularly relevant if you’re taking time out to consider your options, already working but looking for a different opportunity, or feel ready to take your education to the next level.

This recorded webinar explains:

  • What HTQs are and where to find out more about them

  • Why an HTQ could be an option when planning your next steps

  • What support is available to help you access an HTQ course

  • How to find an HTQ course
