We thought we’d breakdown some of our new Level 2 & 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships — these are fantastic opportunities for anyone who has just finished their GCSEs:

Service Technician/Mechanic Apprentice 🛠️

Job Description: Your students will work with a wide range of vehicles and engines. It will be their responsibility to identify faults, test systems, then undertake repairs and maintenance.

Essential Skills: This would be perfect for anyone who likes hands-on jobs where they can really get ‘stuck-in’. Attention to detail, teamwork and good customer service are also important.

Parts Advisor Apprentice 📋

Job Description: Your students will order, sell, and manage stock control on vehicle parts and accessories. It will be their responsibility to advise customers on problems and make sure the Service Technicians/Mechanics have the parts they need.

Essential Skills: This role would suit anyone who has great communication skills and likes jobs where they can work collaboratively as a team. Strong customer service skills are also key.
