Teacher Encounter – NHS Wycombe Hospital

Designed for science, health & social care, and SEND teachers, this behind‑the‑scenes encounter offers a rare opportunity to explore one of Buckinghamshire’s major regional healthcare centres. With only a few places remaining, it’s ideal for teachers looking to bring real‑world examples back to the classroom and inspire students with insight into the 350+ careers available within the NHS.

The experience includes a guided tour of Wycombe Hospital’s specialist departments, showcasing how curriculum subjects connect to modern healthcare practice. Areas explored may include radiology, the cardiac catheterisation lab, clinical research, and cellular pathology. Teachers will gain practical insights to motivate students and deepen their understanding of NHS career pathways.
